The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Annoor Dental College in association with IPS Kerala state branch presented an array of programs which kick started with ARTIST 2024 (Advanced Rehabilitative Training for Interns for Successful Transition) – a two day training programme on clinical excellence in tooth preparation held on 10th and 11th January for 25 interns of our college and 5 outside participants. at the T.M. Seethy Hall at our college. Clinical demonstration and hands on training on patients was conducted for all participants. Various clinical insights provided by our dynamic faculty along with the enthusiasm of the participants made this event truly remarkable.

A set of co -curricular competitions for the students was also conducted in a grand way, with events throughout the last week which included e-poster, cartoon sketching, and fun with dental materials, Prostho Reels competitions etc for the batches from first year to the house surgeons.

For the first-year students fun with dental materials competitions was conducted. All the 50 students participated in the program as groups and we had seen a variety of interesting ideas materialized on the day. Cartoon sketching was conducted for 2nd BDS students. Essay writing competition and E- poster competition on the title recent trends in Prosthodontics was conducted for our interns. Prostho reels competition was held for first year, second years and interns. All these competitive events were organized with an objective to instigate an aptitude for the specialty of Prosthodontics.

Students showcased their active participation and sincere effort to make these events fruitful.
