Annoor Dental College is pleased to announce that Dr. Anakha Ashok, Senior lecturer, Dept of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Annoor Dental College & Hospital has been granted Copyright Registration by the Copyright Office, Government of India, for creating an original surgical protocol titled:
“The Algorithmic Surgical Handling for Optimal Kinetics and Nerve Safety- The ASHOK Protocol for Third Molar Surgery.”
This work presents a novel, structured, sensory-integrated, and visibility-based surgical algorithm designed to minimize inferior alveolar and lingual nerve injury during third molar surgery. The protocol emphasizes surgical precision, nerve safety, and optimal operative kinetics, contributing meaningfully to safer clinical practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
The copyright was officially registered under the provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957, and under the Intellectual Property of India.
