Dept. of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Annoor Dental College conducted a 2 day programme on 15th and 16th May 2026 to celebrate the World Orthodontic Health Day. On May 15th series of competitions’ were conducted such as creative wire bending as well as smile spot light contests for the UGs and PGs of Annoor dental college which was well attended. The following day rapid review of myofunctional appliances was conducted under the banner ORTHOBLITZ by Dr. Tarulatha Shyaghali an eminent academician who is currently the vice principal, Professor and Head, Dept of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics MR Ambedkar college and hospital , Bangalore. The full day lecture was well attended by more than 50 delegates and they highly appreciated the lectures as well as hands on demo sessions. Lunch and other refreshments were provided and certificates for the delegates were handed over by the speaker towards the end marking the successful completion of the programme.
