The Students Union and NSS Unit of Annoor Dental College & Hospital jointly celebrated Environment Day with great enthusiasm and social commitment. As part of the celebration, various eco-friendly activities were organized within the college campus to create awareness about the importance of protecting nature and maintaining a healthy environment. The programme was inaugurated by the respected faculty members and NSS coordinators. Students actively participated in the event and delivered messages about environmental protection, conservation of nature, and the importance of sustainable living.
A vegetable planting programme was conducted as the main activity of the celebration. Students planted different varieties of vegetable seedlings in the college garden and campus surroundings. The initiative aimed to encourage organic farming, healthy food habits, and environmental responsibility among students. The programme created awareness about the need to protect nature for future generations. The Environment Day celebration was successfully conducted with the cooperation and active participation of students, teachers, and NSS volunteers.
