With a mission to bring smiles to every section of society and to ensure that oral health care reaches even the most remote communities, The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College, in association with Harrison Malayalam Limited, Surianalle, organized a Dental Screening Camp on 23rd August 2025 for the estate workers and the general public.The program commenced with a brief inaugural function, followed by an orientation on the importance of oral health in maintaining overall well-being. The camp included comprehensive oral examinations were carried out to identify common dental problems such as dental caries, periodontal diseases and tobacco-related oral health issues, distribution of toothpaste, and one-on-one tooth brushing demonstrations to educate individuals on proper oral hygiene techniques. Referral cards were also issued to those in need of further treatment at Annoor Dental College. The initiative was well received and appreciated by both organizers and participants for its valuable contribution to community oral health awareness.
