The “Advanced Dental Implant Techniques” session, organized by the Department of Periodontics at Annoor Dental College, Muvattupuzha, Kerala, took place on October 24, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the College Auditorium. The event kicked off with a warm welcome address by Dr. Josepaul, Head of Department of Periodontics and Students Dean, setting the tone for a fruitful session. Dr. Swaroop Chandy, Associate Professor, introduced the first speaker, Dr. Sunil Kumar Nettimu, who delivered an insightful talk on “Protocols in Immediate Implant Placement,” covering all critical aspects of the procedure. The second session featured Dr. George Abraham, introduced by Dr. Reshma T.S, Assistant Professor, who explored “Advanced Photogrammetry and Simplifying Digital Implant FMR with Rosen Protocol,” complemented by a hands-on demo on photogrammetry.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Johnson Prakash D’lima Professor, Department of Periodontics. With around 100 participants, the session fostered engaging learning on cutting-edge dental implant techniques.
