The first module of the prestigious Fellowship in Aesthetic Dentistry, accredited by Manipal University College Malaysia and hosted by Annoor Dental College and Hospital, was successfully held with an exclusive batch of 5 participants, ensuring personalized guidance and one-on-one mentoring on 29th, 30th and 31st of July
The 3-day module focused on advanced aesthetic procedures, including:
Class IV composite restorations
Ceramic veneer preparation & bonding
Biomimetic restorative approaches
Finishing, polishing, and shade selection
Gingival retraction, rubber dam isolation, and impression techniques
The sessions were expertly led by:
Dr. Liza George – Vice Principal & Professor, who guided participants through detailed lectures and intensive hands-on training.
Dr. Josey Mathew – HOD, shared clinical insights on composite material selection.
Dr. Giju George Baby – Principal, emphasized the critical role of occlusion in achieving long-term aesthetic outcomes.
Dr. Manu Johns – Professor, Dept. of Prosthodontics, contributed with advanced prosthodontic protocols.
The highlight of the module was the “live patient hands-on session” on Day 3, where participants translated their learning into clinical application under expert supervision.
