VANA MAHOTSAVAM 2025

The Social Forestry Division, Ernakulam – Perumbavoor Range proudly organized a Vana Mahotsavam Seminar as part of the nationwide tree planting and awareness drive. The event took place at Annoor Dental College and was graced by the presence of students, faculty members, and forestry officials.

Sri Fen Antony, Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) with the Social Forestry Department in Ernakulam, led the session with an insightful seminar highlighting the importance of afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and the role of youth in protecting our green cover.

The program aimed to raise awareness about the significance of trees in our ecosystem and encouraged active participation in environmental protection initiatives.
