Division of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry is committed to the advancement of the comprehensive oral health care, prevention, and welfare to all infants, children, adolescents, and those with special needs. This mission is accomplished by providing quality care in an efficient and humane manner while fostering advanced education, research, and service to the community.
Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. We provide both primary and specialized oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. Under graduate training incudes two years of preclinical and clinical training. During this two year the students will be trained to treat the dental needs of a child.
We take pride in offering Student Centric Outcome Based Education. The department has created excellent teaching and learning resources, modern on-campus facilities organized to facilitate student care and nurture talent in a creative and innovative environment.
