A Dental screening and Treatment camp was held at Old Panchayat Office, Palakuzha on November 16, 2024. It was organized by Santhigiri College Social Work Department in association with Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital to provide quality dental care to the general population. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Jaya K.A (Palakuzha Grama Panchayat President). Felicitation speech was delivered by Dr Sharon Philip, Senior Lecturer, Public Health Dentistry. The following events were conducted at the camp:
- Oral screening was performed on patients.
- Treatment was rendered to patients.
- Toothpaste was distributed among patients.
- Antibiotics and Analgesics were given to needed patients.
- One on One demonstration of Tooth brushing techniques to patients.
All patients were provided with a referral card for availing further treatment in the college. The camp received favorable feedback and was lauded by the organizers for its impactful contribution.
