A dental screening and treatment camp was organized to cultivate a deep appreciation for exemplary oral hygiene practices, skill of precise tooth brushing and fostering long-term improvements in dental health awareness and habits in the Kalamassery residents. It was organized by Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi, Kalamassery in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College at Unit Trade House, Kalamassery on 5th December, 2024. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. K K Mayinkutty (President KVVES Unit North Kalamassery). The following events were conducted at the camp:
- Oral screening was performed on patients.
- Treatment was rendered to patients.
- Toothpaste distribution was done among the patients.
Overall, the camp triumphed in both educating and transforming attitudes, ensuring peoples embrace effective tooth brushing as a daily essential. The camp garnered exceptional feedback from the organizers and participants, underscoring its impact and effectiveness in meeting the needs and expectations of those involved.
