Dept. of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, Annoor Dental College & Hospital, Muvattupuzha is proud to announce the commencement of Advanced Masters Training Program in Interceptive & Myofunctional Therapy in association with Online Dentistry. The program is planned for a span of one year with online modules & 4 in-campus modules of 3 days each. The first phase of our journey commenced on 26.09.2022 with an elaborate 3 day training program. Our pilot batch had 5 participants from various parts of India & abroad. The faculties of the program are Prof. Dr.Joby Peter (Professor & Head, Dept. of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, Annoor Dental College), Dr.Binu T Abraham (Director & Chief Consultant, Kerala Dental Clinic), Dr. Monika Sharma (Gokulam Medical College &Hospital), Dr. Shine Shukoor (Chief Consultant, Kinder Specialty Hospital), & Ahana Cleetus (Speech Pathologist, Rajagiri Group of Hospitals). The instructors are experts in the area & are well informed & are involved with leading research happening in the field. Although the content is complex, it was presented in a manageable & digestible way. Hands–on-training really helped the students to grasp the concept. The first module of the program was a power packed knowledge sharing carnival. We had an amazing response from the participants. The program will help the participants to truly look at patients from a different lens after this course.
