A dental screening and treatment camp was organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital, Muvattupuzha in association with the Areeckal Boys Organisation, Piravom to celebrate National Tooth Brushing Day at Piramadom Government New LP School, Areeckal on 5th November, 2023. The following events were conducted at the camp:
• Oral screening and treatment was done in the mobile dental van for the patients.
• Distribution of oral hygiene aids- Medium bristled toothbrush for adults and Ultra Soft bristled Tooth Brushes for elders.
• National Tooth Brushing Day Photo Booth – Participants enthusiastically stepped into the photo booth, capturing moments that not only brought smiles but also raised awareness about oral hygiene during the camp.
• One-on-One Demonstration of effective tooth brushing techniques.
The camp was a triumphant success, achieving its objectives of educating the general population about the significance of oral health and the importance of proper tooth brushing. The camp received outstanding feedback from the participants and the organisers.
