International Dentist’s Day is celebrated on 6th March every year. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of oral health and the significant role dentists play in maintaining the well-being of their patients. In this regard, a dental screening and treatment camp was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital in association with Nanma Souhrida Charitable Society at Kaiplangat House near Kaipoorikkara Juma Masjid, Chembaracky. The camp was inaugurated by Shiyas Sajina, Owner of Alsaj Kitchen. Felicitation speech was given by Dr. Arun Rao, Senior Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry. The following events were conducted at the camp:
• Oral screening was performed on patients.
• Dental treatment was done .
• Distribution of Sensodyne Toothpastes.
• Prescription and distribution of antibiotics, painkillers and PPIs for the ones in need.
• One-on-One demonstration of tooth brushing techniques.
The camp was a resounding success and earned high praise from the organisers for its effectiveness.
