International Human Solidarity Day is observed on 20 December annually to highlight the importance of unity in diversity. This day also reminds people to work together in fighting poverty, hunger and disease. In this regard, a dental screening and awareness camp was organised by Yeldo Mar Baselios College Social Work Department, Kerala Social Security Mission, Muvattupuzha Municipality in collaboration with Ahalya Foundation Eye Hospital and Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital, Muvattupuzha on 20th December, 2023. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Sini Biju (Vice Chairperson of Muvattupuzha Municipality) and Shri. P.M. Abdul Salam (Chairman of Muvattupuzha Municipal Health Affairs Standing Committee. Oral screening was performed and awareness class was taken on maintenance of oral health.

Overall, the camp unequivocally triumphed in fulfilling its goals by effectively educating the public about the significance of oral health diseases. The camp received outstanding feedback from the participants and the organizers.
