A dental screening and awareness camp was conducted as part of a comprehensive health camp at the Kochi Marriott Hotel on July 8 and 9, 2025. The camp was organized by Shantibhavan , palliative hospital in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry of Annoor Dental College & Hospital, with the aim of promoting preventive healthcare and early diagnosis through free general health check-ups and dental screening for hotel employees.
The camp included oral screening for attendees, where individuals were assessed for dental issues and provided with guidance on necessary treatments, educating participants on proper brushing techniques, the role of diet in oral health, and the significance of regular dental check-ups.
The camp was held from 08:30 am to 2:00 pm. All patients were provided with a referral card for availing further treatment in the dental college. The camp successfully fulfilled its objective of raising awareness about oral health and reinforcing the importance of preventive care.
