A dental screening camp was organised by Block Resource Centre, Kalloorkad and Rotary Club Muvattupuzha in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities at St. Little Theresa’s High School, Vazhakulam on 02.12.2023. The following events were conducted at the camp:
- Oral screening was performed on 36 patients.
- One-on-One Demonstration of effective tooth brushing techniques.
- Awareness class was given by Dr C Anushika, Lecturer, Department Of Public Health Dentistry on maintenance of oral health. Overall, the camp triumphed in both educating and transforming attitudes, ensuring families of disabled persons embrace effective tooth brushing as a daily essential.
The camp garnered exceptional feedback from the organisers and participants, underscoring its impact and effectiveness in meeting the needs and expectations of those involved.
