Second module of “Smile Artistry”- Work shop on Smile Creation; an initiative of Annoor Aesthetic Academy hosted by the Dept. of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Annoor Dental College, Muvattupuzha was conducted by on 10th& 11thOctober,2023. The module included hands-on training of rubber dam placement, midline diastema closure and ceramic veneer cementation. Handson sessions were led by Dr. Liza George (Vice Principal, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry). Dr. Jose Paul (Student’s Dean and HOD, Dept. of Periodontics), lectured on Pink Aesthetics. Lecture on crown lengthening was delivered by Dr. Senny Thomas Parakkal (Professor, Dept. of Periodontics). Dr. Sinju Paul (Reader, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry) spoke on rubber dam application. Dr. Joby Peter (HOD, Dept. of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry) gave a lecture on Anterior esthetic crown for pediatric patients. Lecture on impression techniques was given Dr. Manu Johns (Reader, Dept. of Prosthodontics). Didactic lectures onbonding protocol for veneers and bleaching techniques were conducted by Dr. Liza George (Vice Principal, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry).
