Laser Lessons – Practical Tips and Techniques
The Department of Periodontics at Annoor Dental College, in collaboration with Dentsply Sirona, successfully conducted a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programme on “Laser Lessons – Practical Tips and Techniques” on 17th February 2025. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from participants, with a total of 70 attendees from within and outside the campus.
Dr. Jaison Vallyakulangara, a renowned expert in the field, delivered an engaging and informative session, highlighting the various applications of lasers in dentistry. The programme included an excellent demonstration, followed by hands-on training, where participants had the opportunity to practice on models. The event received positive feedback from the participants, who appreciated the practical tips and techniques shared by the speaker. The programme aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of dental professionals in the use of lasers in dentistry, and it successfully achieved its objective. We extend our gratitude to Dentsply Sirona for their association and support, and to Dr. Jaison Vallyakulangara for sharing his expertise with us. We also thank the participants for their enthusiastic participation and look forward to organizing more such events in the future.
