World No Tobacco Day
On the observance of World No Tobacco Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with the Department of Oral Pathology organized an awareness program with the motto of creating a tobacco-free campus in Annoor Dental College and Hospital, Muvattupuzha. The anti-tobacco pledge ceremony was held to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use, during which participants took the pledge to live a tobacco-free life. An awareness talk was also delivered by Dr Pooja Latti, Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry. This was followed by a “Signature Campaign” in which college members signed the board showing their support for the campaign. Overall, there was a tremendous response from the participants.
