Dental Camp – Government L P School, Onamkulam
A Dental Screening and Treatment camp was held at Government L P School, Onamkulam, on December 21st , 2024, for the general population. It was organized by NSS unit of Jai Bharath College in association with the IQAC and Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital, aimed to emphasize the importance of oral hygiene and its impact on overall health. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Nithesh, Principal of Jai Bharath Arts and Science College, followed by a felicitation speech by Dr Sharon Philip, Senior Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry, Annoor Dental College and Hospital. The following events were conducted at the camp:
• Oral screening was performed on peoples.
• Treatment was rendered to patients in the treatment van.
• Toothpaste distribution was done.
• Necessary medicines were distributed to patients in need.
• One-on-One demonstration of Toothbrushing techniques were provided.
All patients were provided with a referral card to avail further treatment at the college. The event received high praise from organizers for its meticulous planning and execution. The efforts of the dental team were recognized with an appreciation shield, marking the camp’s resounding success
